Information Desk Staff will answer questions, give directions, distribute handouts if needed, and escalate questions
and/or concerns to the relevant area when necessary. Volunteers are expected to have some knowledge of Arisia, and a calm and/or positive demeanor when
interacting with the public. Prior customer service experience is a plus but, not required.

IRT General Staff

The Incident Response Team (IRT) at Arisia is the Area responsible for responding to incidents and situations at the convention that involve member behavior, especially in relation to violations of the convention’s Code of Conduct (CoC) policy.

Load-In Volunteers

Load In takes place on the Wednesday and Thursday before con. Wednesday’s work is at the NESFA club house in Somerville, Massachusetts and will probably only take a few hours. It involves packing things into a truck so they can go to the hotel.

Load Out takes place Monday of the con, starting midday, with a little bit of work Tuesday morning.

Logistics Truck Drivers

RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive 24-26'' size box trucks around the city. At least 5 years driving experience preferred. Experience with driving large vehicles a plus. Travel will be between the NESFA clubhouse in Somerville, Arisia storage in Haverhill and to the Westin Hotel in Boston and back.

Available shifts will be for January 12th, 13th, 14th, 17th, and 18th, 2022.

Main Stage Audio Design Staff

Arisia’s Main Stage provides a venue for plays, concerts, and (of course) the Masquerade. We're looking for volunteers to design, set up, and run audio for main stage events.

Training can be provided if requested in advance
